This was a nice place to hang out in. It has a nice view of the city and the drinks are pretty good. The staff and the music played were also nice as well. I would recommend

Nice view of Chicago skyline from the balcony, especially as the setting sun reflected. At one point, perhaps drawn to the heat lamps, a swarm of gnats temporarily had us swatting at the air around us, but they soon passed and were forgotten. The premium cocktail menu featured an interesting menu of tasty drinks. We were part of a private party, I’m not sure how long the wait to get in would be without reservations; I heard it was getting long at around 9 or 10 on a Friday when I was there. Cool stone grotto area added uniqueness to The Up Room’s swanky Chicago rooftop lounge bar experience

Great little bar. Tasty beverages. Staff went out of the way to accommodate us though we didn’t have reservations – which was awesome since we were not in town for long. Will definitely try to get back here

One of the best views the of the city skyline. You’ll pay for the views with the drink prices but it’s worth it. This is my go-to spot when I want to show visitors the magnificence of Chicago’s skyline
This place is pretty popular, but they do a good job of limiting capacity, so it’s never really crowded. There is often a long wait to get in, so if you end up on a waiting list, just head down to the Cabana Club on the 6th floor of the same building and grab drinks there while you wait

I highly recommend the Up Room at the Robey hotel. I bring visitors here every time they visit Chicago. The view is expansive and totally unique. The drinks are unique. staff has always been very friendly
Even in the winter, i’ve loved my experience here
My favorite drink so far has been the old-fashioned. They add smoked cinnamon which makes it really special

Bring back the popcorn!!! You’re definitely paying for the view, and it is ultimately worth it. You also get very, very good cocktails for your money. I am, however, disappointed to see their popcorn disappear. That was some of the best popcorn I’ve ever had and they just…dropped it. For something to munch on, we ordered the cheese board. Again, you’re paying for the view, but that menu item was embarrassing compared to the excellent drinks. Bring back the popcorn even if it has to be a paid item (it was formerly complimentary)
