Wow, I was blown away. Very unique experience at Tanta. You definitely pay for what you get, but boy is it special. Drinks were superb and food was delicious, except maybe too much of that maiz corn in everything. Can’t wait to go back

Very good place to be. They have a patio and the food is excellent. They make good cocktails and the wine is good. We went there for restaurant week and for$55 we got very nice quality food. The waiter was helpful and kind and he substituted my dessert for another one because I don’t like cinnamon. They have a lot of seafood and I really recommend this place

We came here on a Thursday night and there’s no tables left but bar seats were available. The Sakura and passion fruit drinks were really good and fruity. All the food we got were really delicious, specially the scallops. It was cooked just right and goes perfectly with the passion fruit sauce.

The pork belly is also really good, it’s crispy and has lots of veggies on the side to wrap it together with the lettuce wraps. The service was fast and great! 10/10 recommend this place

This was my first experience with Peruvian cuisine and I’m grateful it was at Tanta. Our server was infectiously energetic and explained the menu to us with wonderful recommendations that helped us enjoy a full spectrum of the cuisine as newbies. The dishes were very nicely done, esp. the ceviche and anything with octopus. The Pisco sour as promised was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the lively vibe also.

Amazing as always! The food, drinks and ambiance are on point. If you get a chance, sit upstairs on the rooftop. You won’t be disappointed. The staff is always super nice and very courteous. Definitely one of my favorite places in Chicago. Highly recommend checking Tanta out for any occasion

Exquisite dinner…Octopus, absolutely delicious cocktails…Check the “El Chingon” on the menu…lovely place and beautiful women around here 🙂 …overall a great place to visit.
