Tandoor Char House Loved it, came in right when they first opened a few years back the owner was at our table giving us samples and cheesecake. The wraps were scrumptious and the chat fries were so good.

The food is always delicious! Make sure to order mild for medium spice. Medium for me is SPICY. Service is quick. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items
BYOB restaurant with traditional and fusion dishes. Very reasonably priced (about 16-20 for an entree with unlimited rice and chutney). Friendly knowledgeable staff, authentic yet creative dishes. A great place for a relaxing dinner with friends or a date. Would highly recommend.

Even though the restaurant is relatively small, and it usually requires reservation in advance to avoid long wait, the food is legitimately authentic and thus worth the wait. Many Indian people that I know have confirmed that this is one of their favorite typical North Indian cuisine in Chicago. Most of the dishes in the Indian restaurants are rotated around the three main types of meat: chicken, lamb, and goat.

I came here on Sunday after trying their Tikka Masala Shrimp Tacos at the Taste of Lincoln Avenue festival. ordered the ceviche, vegetable biriyani, and fish masala and they were all DELICIOUS 😋. I liked the atmosphere and Arnold was a great server! Can’t wait to come back here again.

Nice place to have Indian Pakistani food. They have a new location now in River North Gold Coast area
I have dined in earlier at the Lincoln Park location earlier a couple of times. This time I ordered online Chicken Biryani and Lamb Curry. Both were good. The pieces in Biryani were a little chewy but taste was good.
I would recommend their Lamb Biryani over Chicken Biryani
