Sepia Restaurant Great food, great servers, great atmosphere, and great price for a Michelin star restaurant. I hate compote, macarons, and this place made me love them. Every course that came surprised me with how beautiful and delicious it was. Absolutely great value and a must see in Chicago

The restaurant has a 4 course menu, each course with at least 3 options so everyone was pleased. In addition we got the matching wine service which was different for each course and choice. The second course sable was my favorite. Preparation of all dishes was the high caliber of a star restaurant. The wine Stuart was excellent and explained each of the parings. A great night celebration for our 50th anniversary

Sepia has a lovely atmosphere. The service is very good too. The food was good but not expeceptionally memorable either. Plating and presentation was fantastic and some of the flavor combinations were great but others missed the mark for me. Best dish was the duck and my least favorite was the grapefruit and black sesame dessert. Too much bitterness in a dessert for my taste. I still highly enjoyed my evening and do not regret checking this place out

This is an amazing place to celebrate you special occasion. The service is more than welcoming. The food is delicious. I strongly recommend wine pairing. Our experience was beyond expectations
Extremely well priced for a Michelin star restaurant. The foie gras tart was my favorite.
Service took a bit longer than expected though, but overall a great experience

Overall, pretty great experience. It’s a Michelin star quality meal and the crispy fried egg in particular was amazing. Only flaws would be the service (felt exceptionally long for the first course to come out and also had to wait a while for each subsequent course) and the first course beet dish (not the most flavorful)
Best regards
