NoodleBird at Fat Rice Restaurant Amazing restaurant with friendly stuff and unique style food. Everything from the bakery looks super delicious. The Portuguese egg tart is a must have! Haven’t had any better egg tarts than this one in Chicago area. The Fat Rice has a variety of meat in it, including beef, pork, chicken, and topped with two prawns

Cool vibes. Very hip & modern. Portions are pretty small and everything seems a bit overpriced. However, the food is interesting and the bakery is pretty amazing. I would most likely revisit just the bakery

First time dining here and was not disappointed. Flavors were really good with each dish. Make reservations early if you plan on going because they fill up fast. The bakery next door was just as good
A small menu and a small dine in space. Food tasted good .you order at the register and then food is brought to your table. You have to pick your utensils and sauces from a side board yourself.Egg tarts are really good

Service, food, and atmosphere was amazing. I am giving 4/5 stars because I would have preferred larger portions. I get it that it is casual dining style, with fine dining level food. They have rotating specials so you have a different experience every time. I would recommend this place to others. It is good for a special occasion but a little expensive for a weekly meal

Everything was really delicious and I am so glad we can still get the Portuguese egg tarts and the black milk tea

I really enjoyed my visit to Fat Rice. Seeing the Milo Dinosaur on the menu made me feel really nostalgic. We had the dumplings which were pretty good. The Lacassa noodles were just okay in my opinion, but we also had the Crab Fried Rice which was really really good
Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful with the menu and throughout the meal
If I could, I would say it’s 4+ stars, but it is a little pricey for what it is. Hence, my 4 star rating. But it was still a good experience

New favorite in our neighborhood, if I could give it 10 stars I would! The flavors are outstanding, not to be missed are the Char Siu Pork Noodles, Dumplings, and the Jumbo Shrimp. We can’t wait to return and try everything else on the menu. Do yourself a favor and run to NoodleBird before the secret gets out and you can still get a seat
