Some of the best food we have ever had! The chef definitely earned his Michelin star and knows what he is doing! The octopus was the best cooked we have ever had and we loved the guacamole with pork belly! If you skip dessert, you are missing out!!! Service was impeccable! Lorenza was great, always making sure we loved our food, gave awesome recommendations, and anticipated our needs! If we are in Chicago we will be back!

I gotten the chicken quesadilla so good and filling. The employees were above and beyond. I dropped my sour cream on the floor and I old that this happened and i was waiting on the new one but they brought to the table for me which made it seem fancy. All in all great place and awesome food.

Traditional family-friendly Mexican restaurant in a great location. Very attentive service. We loved the cocktails, and the food was great. Portions are just right and the prices very reasonable. My group realized we had been talking 45 minutes past close, but were still offered more water and were never asked to leave.

Spanglish Mexican Kitchen Great place. Very authentic Mexican. Done the right way n even have the Mexican pop soda that have real sugar. Food is a little spicy but a 1 or 2 on that scale. Free Chips n salsa with ur meal. Food is delicious and very affordable.

Un poquito de México en el centro de Chicago, pedí unos tacos de asada y estaban muy buenos pero lo mejor son las salsas. No entendí porque tenian lechuga mis tacos pero las salsas arreglaban todo. El área donde está es segura y está en toca la calle

Everything I expected and more! Food and service was outstanding! The manager Maria Coterra gave us a private tour after lunch and it was special. We’re from Castroville TX visiting Chicago and have followed the owner Rick Bayless career for years. We very grateful for the special treatment. FRONTERA is a class act! Our waiter Aaron helped set up the VIP treatment and did an AWESOME job during our lunch! MUCHOS GRACIAS! VAMOS!

Take my review for what it’s worth but I will start by telling you what I liked about Dos Toros. The service was amazing, the staff was funny, friendly and the food well surpassed my expectations. I don’t normally visit chain Mexican restaurants like this but dos toros has completely changed my mindset. Granted, I was only here because of a yelp elite members sponsored event but I still found this place to be in a league of it’s own.

Love this Mexican spot! It was pack when I got there! Not surprise at all. This spot always has a line. The food is really delicious. Who doesn’t like carnitas? My favorite our the quesadillas de sesos (brain quesadillas). I know what you’re going to say “Ugh.” Eww.” “That’s disgusting!” I’ll I have to say is try it out first. Then you can judge and critique all you want. Trust me when I say this they are the bomb! This Mexican spot never disappoints me. I’ve been coming here for years.

Love this place. food is delicious no matter what you order. The Pollo and Carne tacos were so good and the sauces were delicious. The vibe is pretty lively and serve is friendly and quick. Maybe request the “off menu” spicy sauce if you like your stuff with a kick. Definitely check out this place!

Today i decided to be bold and try something else. This was the chicken flunta. So crispy and soft at the same time. Gauc taste like it’s missing lime but not bad. The chips and salsa is also my fav. The chips are the perfect texture. Crispy but not hard to the point where they hurt the roof of your mouth.
