First Chicago Pizza experience. Plenty of food for two people. Crust was heavy and crispy. Tomato sauce was good.

We had calamari and deep dish pizza. First of all the waiting for deep dish pizza is at least 45 minutes. So if you don’t have time just skip this place because if you go afternoon/evening there is waiting line always. We had to wait at least 40-50 minutes to be seated and even after that the pizza took 20ish minute to arrive. It was first time we tried deep dish pizza and we were happy with it. .

Malnati’s has always been one of my favorite pizzerias in Chicago. This location is busy, of course, but it didn’t feel overcrowded. We did wait 90 minutes for a table on a Saturday afternoon. My only complaint is that our order was messed up in two ways. The problem is that when you wait so long to eat, are you really going to send the food back and wait longer? On the flip side, the draft beer selection was great. See pix

Thursday night 6:30m, 45 minute wait. Cool system that lets you know where you are in line and texts you when your turn has arrived. Ordered a Small Chicago Classic, takes 30 minutes to prepare.

Interesting experience in the heart of Chicago downtown Pizza place. We like the vibe and crowd, and the Chicago old style. I liked the pizza but it wasn’t my favorite pizza, and probably let it off with this experience. I didn’t like the cleaning order of our table, I meant even though our server was very nice, he didn’t clean our table. even asked him to clean but he didn’t. Our sausage pizza seemed like it was just a big top sausage on the dough with lots of tomato dressing. I didn’t try the other pizza but I believe the other one should tasted better.
