Such a delicious meal in a family owned restaurant. I had the Lechón plate with arroz con grandules and maduro and my fiancé has the pescado jibarito. Both were SO GOOD.They give large portions and the restaurant is SUPER CLEAN. We definitely will return !

Todo bien pero al pagar una comida de tres sague cuenta una comida de 14.97 otra de 14.00y otra no se si era de 4.95 más dos jugos de parcha y una malta son a $67.00 dólares y eso más propina 5.00 dólares al señora según y para el mesero $5.00 que nos vieron cara de rica por Dios fuimo apoyar a los restaurante no es quitar lo poquito de Dinero que teniamos por Dios eso no estuvo bien

We stopped in for a lunch on our recent trip to Chicago. The steak jibarito (juicy, tender steak with a little bite from the onions) and lechon (rich pork flavor) plate were both very good. Definitely worth a visit

The owners are really nice. Food was good. We were right when they opened so we were alone but it looks like they’re trying to follow CDC reqs
If you love Puerto Rican food you will definitely want to pay this place a visit. The owner welcomed us at the door and it honestly felt like we back in the islands, walking into a friend’s home for some home cooking. I would give them five stars but there were many menu items unavailable, mostly due to the perfect storm of recent heavy snow, pandemic restrictions and Chicago area restaurants only recently being allowed to open for sit down dining. We will definitely revisit in a few weeks when supply has had a chance to catch up with demand

A wonderful restaurant with warm-hearted staff. I had the bistec encebollado and it was fantastic! I will definitely go again when I visit Chicago again
