Izakaya Mita restaurant It’s a nice cozy place with a friendly staff. Music is quiet, there is a lot of free space to spend time alone or with a company. And the most important thing for me – they have my favorite Japanese beer – Asahi. Prices are quite affordable for the area, so have an amazing experience here

So excited this place is open again. Food is excellent! Great service and saki selection. Remains a local favorite.

My favorite Japanese restaurant in the city by far! Best sake list hands down, when it come to price, taste, and the staff is usually amazing. Never had a bad experience, the owners are active and really care about the guest experience. The food is authentic, delicious, and always right

If you haven’t been here, I don’t know what your problem is. Go there, now. Why aren’t you there yet? That’s how great they are, and definitely get their cheesecake for desert, I don’t eat a lot of sweets but the green tea cheesecake is so amazing. 10/10 would go back, and tell my friends about this place all the time

Review one

This place is clearly one of the coolest place in the region. Whenever I visit this place I am so satisfied. They preserve their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You will be always satisfied with this place. Warmly recommended

As close to authentic the food may be, I wish the decor matched a little more so make you feel like you stepped into a bar in Japan. Regardless, the sake selection is extensive and the servers are fairly knowledgeable and can make solid recommendations

Some surprising must get dishes: oil ramen (brothless and spicy) and the marinated dried squid. Reminds me of the snacks you can get in Asian stores

Review three

Not a bad place to eat. The portion of the food is not big. And the decorations inside is not that “asia” as how the outside looks

Review four

The Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki in Chicago, cozy place for drinking too (The Sakura Sake is the best for those who are looking for sweet sake) served in Hot and Cold, usually for beginners or unfamiliar with sake they opt the cold version but serving it hot is really good to. Over all our experience there is really pleasant and the staff are friendly too, for the Okonomiyaki we ordered both flavors but we found the pork better (our personal opinion)
