Himmel’s restaurant Chicago is the best Great food, great atmosphere and the best staff. So attentive to our table. So much food…enough for a full meal the next day. Pretzel bread served on the table. Delicious.. I recommend this place to everyone

Great food, friendly owners. Wonderful German beer served at proper temperatures. Surprisingly good brick oven cooked pizza as well

First time visit. Staff made us feel totally at home and comfortable. Food tasted home cooked. Generous portions. Authentic spaetzel and sour kraut. Get the prosciutto wrapped shrimp with a balsamic vinegar glaze entree as an appetizer. Great fresh baked pretzel bread. Absolutely great guitarist/ singer and a pianist who also plays a mean harmonica. Sang for over an hour straight hits from 60’s and 70’s for tips. I would pay to hear them in concert. So good. They play on Thursdays and Fridays. A magical evening. I’ll be back

Outstanding service and the duck was out of this world – better than anything I’ve had in Austria or the Czech Republic. Pizza was delicious, as well. We’ll be back!

At first, kinda like , let’s go. Stood at door waiting to get seated. Just one waiter. Sat down. Feels like an old world place or someones office. Boxes lined up by kitchen and kinda disorganized. Server sort of messy but fun and very nice. People were having fun! Felt like in another place other than Chicago. Fun accordion player. Food awesome. Good portions. Salmon toast excellent. Steak tartare huge. Schnitzel and yes, pizza were excellent! Will def be back.
