Visiting downtown Chicago with my wife, we decided to eat at Labriola. Well located in an open alley, we were seated quickly. Our waitress was kind and professional. She took our order which came in a timely manner. The food was well prepared and tasty. The roasted brussel sprouts had a nice presentation and an even nicer taste. I followed with the skirt steak which was prepared to perfection. To accompany the delicious food, I had a Lemon Berry Sangria. With the great service and the scrumptious food, Labriola was a worthy experience in Chicago.

Ema restaurant Great place for dinner. The spicy hummus is probably the best hummus I’ve ever had. I would also recommend the green falafel. For drinks, I would recommend the Slow Cheetah. Wonderful drink

I visited Beatrix for brunch on a Friday with some friends and everything was amazing. We got a mixture of brunch and lunch items and it was all delicious. We also got lattes and they were very good. My favorite was the white chocolate pumpkin latte. I highly recommend ordering the honey butter cinnamon bun for the table as well (if they’re not sold out)

The Smith restaurant North Chicago is amazing place. They were extremely busy when I visited, but they fined table for me and my partner immediately, waiting time for service was lightning fast. Fresh and delicious food, accomplished with with ice cold water and sparkling mineral water. Great atmosphere! Great service and friendly staff

This was a wonderful surprise around the corner from The River Hotel. Our waiter was very good at explaining the menu and to our surprise we arrived during their happy hour. We started with appetizers, blue cheese dip with their homemade chips, nigiri salmon on pressed sushi rice, both were so flavorful. For dinner, my husband had the lemon, brick flattened chicken and I had the Caesar salad with salmon. The ambience was fabulous, the newly renovated place has the most beautiful tile work

At first glance, Remington’s looks to be a tourist trap strategically placed across from Millennium Park on prime Michigan Avenue real estate. But it’s far from that. The food is GOOD with a simple but varied menu that doesn’t really change. The crab toast, one of my favorites, is a mainstay. Also love their breakfast options. The service is always good. I’ve never had a bad experience. And they are usually playing “the game” (Bears, Bulls, Sox etc.) A bit pricey but not ridiculous. It’s always a good feeling to go to Macy’s! There is none other like it and like so many others I hope they never go out of business. If you go here you have to be sure to visit the Walnut room on the 7th floor. During the spring the flower show is here and a mass of Christmas decorations during Christmas time. You don’t even have to go in the store to be wowed! You can simply walk around the entire block and see all the beautifully decorated windows. Macys always have something interesting going on

Best burger I’ve ever had. The single cheese burger comes w two parties so don’t be fooled! And definite add the egg and thick sliced bacons, you won’t regret it! The fries is a must try too, the sauces that comes with it are just too good. And finally, the bone marrow is delicious as well, specially the beef cheek sauce on the side

We loved our meal here! All of our meals were excellent. We tried the scotch egg (very good) and the spicy ceviche (also very good) to start. We also ordered some truffle fries and the dipping sauce is to die for. For mains we had the venison burger which was excellent and the Alaskan halibut which was also very good. They were cooked perfectly. One of the most fun things was the peach cobbler with sweet corn ice cream. Very good but you better still have an appetite because it is very large. The service was exceptional. They were very attentive and quick to refill water and take away plates. We would highly recommend this place
