I like the front window or the roof top, service is just nice and clean. Meals as well as bites from the starters to desert including bread are very good and creative! You’re provided with warm bread and butter topped with pepper to begin and your culinary journey only increases from there. The Caesar salad was very good, with the dressing being the best part of the entire salad. But the main entree, the sushi rolls, were so good. You could taste the individual components of the sushi as it melted in your tongue. It may have literally been the best sushi I have ever had.

The meal , mostly Italian also looks contemporary. Small portions with a touch of…art.. We got soups – roaster cauliflower , grilled octopus and grilled chicken with charred peal onions. Every dish was delicious, tasty for our joy. We felt relaxed , exchanged impressions of the pictures we have seen….Nice atmosphere, pleasant drinks. There was also some dessert – you see what is left on the picture. Do not remember what it was. But good. Come to watch Art and get some tasty bite in the same kind of Culinary Art. You wouldn’t regret when you did.

This is a great place for a date! The view was beautiful. We ordered the New York strip and the duck. Both were nice flavors and didn’t wait too long for it to come. The waitress made sure everything was good and we were happy. There was an entrance fee for the view that was $55 plus whatever dinner was. This was about a $300 dollar date including the fee, 2 drinks, 2 entrees and 1 appetizer.

We had to leave at this point to go back to our room so he had the burger remade and personally brought it to my room. I ate in my room alone while my husband rushed off to the light show I missed though because of the food mishap. Manager also took care of the bill (not expected at all). Overall loud, I’m sure outside would have been much better and the food really was AWESOME in the end. Ambiance was nice with all the windows and decor. Because of the manager, we’ll give this place a 2nd chance for sure (as long as it’s outside).

I made reservations for a Sunday about 3 weeks in advance for 830 pm time slot. I was unaware it turns a music lounge until I checked on the website for the menu. I’m Glad we ate before because it was like a club up there. They played English/ reggaetón/ electric music. If you plan to come on a weekend get a reservation for the picturesque seating views. American bistro is an exception place of casual yet fine dining! The outdoor patio is located quietly in the middle of Chicago downtown inside the historic WirlPool building. You have a view of the river, the bridge, and skyline. The staff is excellent. We had delicious Kansas City style steak and crispy roasted cauliflower with pickled veggies. Chèvre Cheese with blueberry was mouthwatering! Overall a great restaurant for private events, celebrating with a party or just a date night for two! The menu has all the apps entries and desert. The interior is rustic and artsy and outdoor patio is easily accessible next to the bridge.

Great food and great ambiance! It’s worth the waiting or reservation. We booked this lunch table a month ago. Food tastes good with good amount, cocktails not only look fancy but also delicious. And I recommend come here in the day time to grab a better view of millennium park and the Lake Michigan. It’s nice to take pictures inside the lounge as well. 4 stars because of table service is somehow very slow here.

This place was amazing. The views are breathtaking! We had a dinner party here for my daughters 30th birthday. The seafood tower is Ahhhmazing!! The reasons for 4 stars are: entrees were okay but quantity and value made them feel very underwhelming. It’s a requirement for each person to order an entree but I suggest giving an amount minimum per person rather than entree per person and/or upgrade the entrees with size, taste, and more options. The other thing is that we did not expect to have a wait for the elevator. That should be on the website or stated when making reservations. Overall, it’s an amazing experience. Our waiters, especially Javier, were exceptional!! My daughter was thrilled and we had a great time.❤️

Was a walk-in on a Friday evening so I wasn’t able to get a table. That being said, I was able to order a drink from the rooftop bar and take in the start of sunset. The view was fantastic and the drink (a Manhattan) was very well made. There were lots of bees near the bar due to the sugar so just be aware. I will definitely come back with visiting friends!

I’m currently here now for brunch… and am VERY impressed. My husband and I just finished our appetizers which were the lobster bignets and the lobster sushi roll. Paired with a nice champagne it was amazing. We ordered the steak and eggs and the eggs Benedict which should be here soon and I don’t even need to finish them before knowing they will be just as great as the appetizers. We will absolutely be back. Also, gorgeous views of downtown Chicago!! Very happy birthday girl right here 🙂
