I wanted to try the deep dish pizza we visited rhe one on The Mag Mile it was Saturday so it was very crowded, However; they have a very good system to speed things up. They have 2 lines 1 where you ask for a table and then they put you on the second line where you order your pizza so by the time you get the table (in our case 30 minutes) then your pizza (specially the deep dish) is already being prepared. Then when at the table it took probably about 20-30 minutes to get our deep dish which it was delicious but takes time to be prepared! We got the small Chicago Classic one for a party of 2 and it was enough and only about $25 so very good value too

Called the restaurant, talked to the manager told him that we did not taste any garlic on the crust or the pizza he then said that there is a certain measurement for the pizza to how much garlic there supposed to put. He said that next time I should add a note and ask for extra garlic. There was literally no garlic on the pizza to begin with, the crust was very plain but the toppings on the pizza were great. Definitely not ordering a pizza from there again .

This has to be the most recommended Chicago deep dish place and it lived up to the hype, for sure. We tried three different deep dish places over the span of the week that we visited Chicago and am happy we tried this one last as while each one was delicious in it’s own right, I enjoyed this one the most. We were able to find meter parking on the street nearby and use the app to pay for it. There was plenty of tables available, even to be able to seat our large group.

Interesting experience in the heart of Chicago downtown Pizza place. We like the vibe and crowd, and the Chicago old style. I liked the pizza but it wasn’t my favorite pizza, and probably let it off with this experience. I didn’t like the cleaning order of our table, I meant even though our server was very nice, he didn’t clean our table. even asked him to clean but he didn’t. Our sausage pizza seemed like it was just a big top sausage on the dough with lots of tomato dressing. I didn’t try the other pizza but I believe the other one should tasted better.

I used to work down the street for a year and let me tell you I ordered here at least once a week and it was one of the best parts of my job. When people ask me what’s my favorite Chicago pizza? This place hands down takes it. Considered by many as the best pizza in the city. The charred caramelized crust, the sweet tangy tomato sauce and the handmade sausages does it for me. Place is always busy, call ahead for reservations or pickup. If you have a large group, make a reservation! Cheers to many more years and I hope it never changes.

Deep dish done right. The first side is a doughy, cheesy, tomatoey burst of warmth in your mouth. One slice fills you up, the second slice leaves you in a position where you’ve got enough stores calories inside you to successfully hibernate for the winter. Would recommend at $5 a slice

Love their deep dish. It’s my second favorite in Chicago. You get a good amount of pizza for the price, in my opinion. Staff was helpful. I know we went in right around when they were opening that day so they were fairly empty when we first sat down but there did seem to be several people filing in over our meal. Everything was delicious! We love coming here just to look at all the cool stuff in the building! The stuffed pizza was perfect, we got meatballs, pepperoni, green peppers and onions this time! The cheese sticks could have been cooked just a few seconds less as the cheese was almost coming out but they were still good! antipasto salad was delicious as well! The waiter was very friendly and let us know about their rewards program which will help get us to drive back out there more often!

I have a list of 5 pizza restaurants I normally choose to bring friends, family or even dates if they’ve never visited before. Just plain fantastic. The menu has about a dozen recommended pies work trying (I’ve done 8), or you can build your own. Trust me, this comfortable, friendly West Town restaurant will become one of your faves.
