Mostly well timed tasting menu with two choices of wine pairings. Expertly crafted dishes provide a singular experience. Both the top level and second level wine flights were exemplary. The entire meal had a delightful funk, think truffles or mangalica, that was handled masterfully
Comfortably casual (you enter through an alley, first ramp after the dumpster) dress like you are meeting your significant others family for the first time. The dining vibe is casual too. This is not forty forks dining. Most anyone should be comfortable here. Sit back and expect to be delightfully challenged

Gorgeous restaurant in a nondescript building. Tables far enough from each other giving plenty of privacy; comfortable chairs. I liked the place just settling in my table at a corner of the dining room. Impeccable service. Excellent food: inventive, artistic. One of the best dinners I’ve had in recent years. I visited Chicago for the first time and spent a week there. Went to two other restaurants with Michelin stars, and Ever is clearly the best. An absolutely incredible experience. Every bite of food was perfectly created and presented and it all tasted phenomenal. We did the wine pairing as well which we really enjoyed, even the surprise switch up to sake! The staff were all incredibly friendly and kind, but a special shout out to Miguel who guided us through our meal, answering all of our questions, throwing in a joke here and there, and making sure we were enjoying ourselves every second of the evening

Incredible. Each course had so many flavors and textures, and the wine pairings complemented the food beautifully. Everything was garnished with tiny fresh flowers. The service was on point. I loved being able to meet and interact with the somallier Don, captain Laura, and even the proprietor. Having only 20 seats meant it was an intimate experience. Worth a special trip

The service and quality of food is excellent as to be expected. On the 10th anniversary menu there were a few standout dishes that were just outstanding. The truffle explosion, butter poached sturgeon, and squab were all highlights.
The reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to two items. First, the couscous didn’t make much sense and was an array of very intense flavors that didn’t seem to go together. Secondly, the overall meal is such an intense experience of indulgence that my wife and I left feeling so full that we couldn’t even think about the meal.
